Applications

BERMOCOLL CCM 879 is used in gypsum based mortars for improvement of workability, consistency and water retention, leading to a prolongation of the open time. BERMOCOLL CCM 879 effectively counteracts the sagging tendency of plaster.

BERMOCOLL CCM 879 should be admixed in dry form before the water is added. Normal dosage is 0.12 - 0.4 % depending on type of mortar. Due to its particle size BERMOCOLL CCM 879 will dissolve rapidly after addition of water to the dry mix.

Packaging and Storage

BERMOCOLL CCM 879 is packed in multi-ply paper bags with an inner polyethylene bag. Net

weight 20 kg (approx 44 lbs). The empty bags can be recycled or burned. In unopened bags,

BERMOCOLL CCM 879 can be stored for several years. In opened bags, the moisture content of BERMOCOLL CCM 879 will be influenced by the air humidity.
